About
Plane of Inertia is a one-man post-metal and post-rock project by Robert Konieczny, a guitar player exploring the boundaries between heavy atmospheric soundscapes and experimental composition using modern music technology.

Drawing inspiration from the desolation of abandoned industrial spaces and the physics of objects at rest, the music navigates themes of motion, stasis, and crushing weight—moving between moments of floating suspension and devastating heaviness.
Exploring soundscapes together.

The second chapter from Plane of Inertia explores what grows in the aftermath of industrial collapse. Where Monolith crushed under oppressive weight, Reclamation breathes with patient renewal. Eleven instrumental tracks move from the last transmitted frequencies through slow dissolution into the green patience of nature's return. Post-rock atmospheres blend with ambient textures and restrained post-metal heaviness, tracing the journey from abandoned laboratories to forest floors. Light breaks through shattered windows. Roots crack concrete. Still water reflects forgotten sky. This is the sound of reclamation—not violent, but inevitable. From the ruins of Monolith, a garden grows.
